Max really did not want to go to the Halloween party, but his friends forced him into it. They told him it would be fun, and they would help pay for his costume. That was really the bit that got him, dressing up. Max had never really taken Halloween seriously, and had stopped dressing up for it years ago, preferring to instead stay home and watch horror movies. But, after years of putting up with him not attending, his friends were forcing him to go, at least this year. But, while they could force him to attend, they could not force him to remember, so Max had forgotten about it by the time of Halloween morning. Because of this, he had not bought a costume yet, and was quickly losing time. So, he had to hurry, driving around town to find a costume. But, everything he found was either too big, too small, or were woman's costumes, too feminine to pass off as a guys costume.
